Ecological PondCONSTRUCTION PROCESS

  • Excavation

    Clean the ground, and establish level lines according to the design drawing. Then excavate and compact the ground.

  • Geomembrane Laying

    Lay geomembrane at the bottom and around the slope of the pond for separation and barrier.

  • Sand Bag Stacking

    Fill sand bags and cross-stack them to the designed height as specified in the design drawing.

  • Completion

    The ecological Pond is completed.

Ecological PondDemonstrative Case

Ecological Pond in Cí Jì Temple, Tainan, Taiwan

To make use the spare space and beatify the temple area, it was planned to build an ecological pond. Ground was excavated and ACELiner™ GCL, geosynthetic clay liner, was laid on the bottom of the pond to prevent erosion and loss of soil. All sorts of greens were planted to mimic and create the natural habitat for animals. Wooden bridge was installed in the middle of the pond for recreational use. The place is now filled with lives and laughter of the tourists.
